![]() The Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS was organized in 2002 by Rapid Intervention Training Associates to preserve the tradition of the Fire Service and to honor those that have gone before us. It is our hope to make the Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS Chapter the largest FOOLS Chapter in the Country and to be active in both our communities and the Fire Service through community service, continued training and brotherhood. From West Penn Hospital
The Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS recently received an award from The Western Pennsylvania Hospital for our ongoing support of their Summer Camp For Burned Children. FOOLS President Brian Kokkila attended a recent WPH board meeting to receive the award on behalf of the organization. Jeremy LaBella Charity Hockey Game Was A Success!
The Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS hosted a charity hockey game against the Pittsburgh Firefighters Local #1 Memorial hockey team to benefit the Jeremy LaBella Memorial Fund on Saturday, March 31st at 4:00 PM at the Ice Castle Arena in Castle Shannon. The game was attended by over 200 people with over $1,300 raised! Pictures from the event can be be viewed here. |

Pittsburgh Metro FOOLS News Last Updated: November 2, 2007 Brother and Sister FOOLS: Hook and Ladder Brewing I have been in contact with Hook and Ladder Brewing and we are still working out the details of our first donation from them. Keep enjoying their product and if you know of any establishments that would like to offer Hook and Ladder for sale please let me know. The more product they sell the more funding we recieve for the FOOLS. Treasurer Conor McCaskey has resigned the position of Tresurer. Conor worked hard to continue the work of his brother Sean, but with the schedule he has been keeping he is unable to continue fullfilling the needs of the position. Thank you Connor for all the help. I have appointed Roxanne Eger to serve as interem Tresurer until the elections are held. Nominations: It has been a great honor serving our organization as President. I have decided not to run for a second term. I have enjoyed the time spent with all of you over the last four years in office. I am not leaving the organization and will always be around to support the FOOLS.
